Features:
Soya Peptone is produced by enzymatic digestion process of soyabean meal. Due to its stimulatory properties associated with Soya Peptone, it is recommended as a growth stimulant for the cultivation of fastidious microorganisms.
Application:
In addition to its nitrogen constituents, this Soya Peptone has a high carbohydrate content and is suitable for many purposes. It is widely used in culture media and is often used for the cultivation of many fastidious organisms and where rapid, luxuriant growth is required.
In order to manufacture vaccine against Hib, Haemophilus influenzae b was, traditionally
cultivated in a complex medium based on soybean peptone
However, maximum specific growth rates and biomass yields were higher for soy peptone containing media.
