Lactobacillus Brevis is a species of lactic acid bacteria, all of which are Gram-positive, rod shaped, non-spore forming organisms whose main metabolic pathway involves fermenting hexose sugars to produce lactic acid and CO2.Fermented products, such as pickles, use bacteria. They are also used in making wine and beer.
